My new bike!

Ain't she a beauty! I have been wanting a bike for a few years now and I finally bought one! I've been riding in the park across the street from my house and I've really been enjoying it! I love the time to let my mind wonder and zone out. Plus the weather here has been pretty nice and starting to cool off. (90 degrees feels cool compared to 106!) I would love to ride on the Trinity Trails or around another park but I don't think I could get my bike in my Bug! I looked into a bike rack but they don't make them to fit Bugs. Looks like I'm limited to my neighborhood park for a while. I don't mind too much. Riding my bike is pretty relaxing and therapeutic but still good exercise! My legs are so sore! There are a few hills throughout the park and man, they are killer! Even for my dancer legs!

I have often heard if someone is talented in one area of the arts they usually are talented in another. Well, I haven't tried many other activities other than dance and pageants but I have always loved art. So with the help of Pinterest I decided to give it a try.
Inspiration:

I will say I didn't expect to be wonderful on my first attempt but it was much more challenging then I anticipated! The hardest part was deciding on the colors and designs. I'm definitely a black and white kind of a girl and my mom is always telling me I need to add some color. I tried doing stripes using yellow, teal and a raspberry red...way too bright and way too many colors. It was a disaster! So I tried again using only teal and black and I really like the way it turned out!

Second project (and probably my favorite). Combining two of my favorites, The Beatles and Bella.
